Listening (Part 1 Guided Learning)
Part 1: Guided Listening 🎧
Welcome to the Guided Listening section.
This is a very easy starting activity for each lesson.
You will listen to a short conversation and then do a quiz.
But unlike a normal lesson, we slow it down and stretch it out.
A 1-minute video becomes about a 10-minute listening lesson.
Why we do this
The main goal is simple:
👉 More listening time
You hear:
- More English
- The same grammar again and again
- The same vocabulary again and again
This helps you learn naturally, without studying rules.
What “guided” means
This is guided learning.
That means the teacher does the activity with you.
In this course, I guide you through the lesson.
- I read the questions
- I explain the answers
- You listen and follow along
This gives you extra listening practice, which is very important.
How you can use it
You can use this lesson in different ways:
- Listen and do the quiz by yourself
- Watch the video, then do the quiz
- Best option: do the quiz with the teacher
You can also listen only.
You don’t need to watch the screen.
This makes it perfect for:
- The gym
- Commuting
- Walking
- Short study time during the day
Just press play and listen.
Extra support (optional)
If you scroll down, you’ll find:
- The transcript
- Vocabulary review
- A printable worksheet (for offline study or classroom use)
These are optional.
Listening comes first.
Why this lesson matters
This guided listening prepares you for the next activities.
After this:
- The grammar activity is easier
- The vocabulary feels familiar
- The lesson feels more comfortable
There are 20 guided listening lessons, about 10 minutes each.
Remember:
- Listen more
- No silent study
The more you listen, the faster your English improves.
👉 This is the first activity for each conversation.
